Damn good selection. Carlos Baerga will do game 2...no so on board with him. Omar wasn't available?

That's so awesome. Those 90's Indians team were so fun to watch.

Baerga solidly behind Omar, Thome and Lofton at least. Sandy Alomar is still with the team so he couldn't be a selection but I'd put him ahead of Baerga too.

Edit: Albert Belle as well

No Joey Belle, no care. Omar probably hurt his cause by working for the Tigers.

this. I am no fan of AL ball but I can admit those teams were just fun to watch. Loaded everywhere IIRC

Kenny Lofton was who I aspired to be in little league. I would have to say I did him proud

The craziest thing about this Indians team compared to those is that the 90s teams undoubtedly had more talent but I think this is a better team. Those 90 teams were the cardiac kids, always had some drama filled games. This team is ruthlessly efficient in the post season.

Yep, and now I will pull for the Cubs. If Wild Thing would have thrown out the first pitch, then I was going to go Indians. Dumbasses.

Hope the front office doesn't catch wind of your decision.

Bring Jose back for a game 7... it will either be an amazing story of redemption or the branding of the Mesa Curse. Either way high drama.

The Cubs need to let Batman throw the first pitch in game three.

Walk out to the mound with a goat on a leash.

ETA: Bartman, but Batman would be cool too I guess.

He played for both teams.

If he rips off the Indians jersey to reveal a Cubs jersey nWo-style, he would be a bigger heel than Art Modell.
