Its been a pretty good game.
I thought Cedar Hill was on their way to getting rocked for a good bit of the first half.
(watching b/c GF went to CH and her rents are at the game)

KHS should have put them away. It was 13-2 KHS for a long time but CHHS has hung around and tied it

I'm not really sure how to compare. I grew up in Louisiana and think La has better athletes, but living in Texas now I think Tx has better teams. And obviously a lot of them. Better coaching in Texas for sure. More money in the programs.
The only common link I can think of this year is Longview beat Neville in a close game, and Longview went out in round 2 of the 5A playoffs in Texas, to a team that itself went out the next week.

What is the average enrollment Louisiana 5AM teams?
The cutoff for Tx 6A teams is about 2200. A handful are around 4k. And a few, Allen and the Plano schools are at nearly 6k.

Yeah Katy was more likely to win this one. Allen is definitely the favorite in the next one.
I wish Allen and Katy would play for the state title in some years. They are the two traditional powerhouses. Not sure why they don't alternate or something for the playoffs.
