If they are able to get by MSU then will lose to Purdue. They will not be able to handle their size

I don't think they'll make it to the sweet 16...foul trouble and a poor shooting night, because they are basically a jump shooting team, will be their doom

Only team that could beat them before then is Iowa State

Purdue would be tough for Kansas because of their size.

But I trust Kansas more to get to the Sweet 16 than I do Purdue. Purdue will choke when they shouldn't.

Kansas makes the Elite 8 and will get beat by someone like Michigan or Rhode Island bc this is sports.

I agree. Saw a stat that a team loses opening game in conference tournament usually flames out early in the dance since 1980.

Even getting by MSU/Miami(FL), I just can't see them losing in their own back yard in KC.

im pretty terrified of purdue for some reason. a dominant big is a worst case scenario (only match up issue that could exist) for kansas, although lucas is serviceable. im glad iowa state beat kansas at the phog earlier this year, cause that will be plenty of motivation to make me not too worried about that match up.

That wouldn't be a shock. It's hard to make the elite 8 for any team. KU doesn't have any mid majors in their way and I consider that a plus. KU could lose in the 3rd round. Miami beat UNC, and Duke. Then ISU has already beat them. KU has beat them as well. So to say that they won't make the elite 8 is really going out on a limb. KU has no bigs besides Lucas. Losing Doke was crushing. Just like Oregon losing Boucher. That 3 seed isn't as strong now
