I'v never been and need to make plans quick.

Where to stay? do you stay in Atlanta? rental cars? are their shuttles running from Atl or do I need to rent a car?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Could probably find a place to stay thats closer than Atlanta. We went to some practice rounds about 10 years ago and stayed at some campsite near Augusta....Worked pretty well for us.

I'd stay closer so you can spend more time on the grounds on Monday. Will want to rent a car

My name is Winston G. butler, III and I am proprietor of said Butler cabin. Unfortunately, we do not have vacancy that evening. We are hosting a scramble for the Cobb County school board and they have it booked.

We are staying in Columbia SC this year, but normally stay outside of ATL. You'll need a car, but parking on site is free. Walk to amen corner early in the morning. Also if you want to, you can set a chair at any hole and leave it and walk around and no one will touch it.

You can probably get a room in Augusta still if you look hard enough. We got one a week prior last year. It's be 400-500 a night though. As far as advice, be there when the gates open, hit the store right off the bat if your going to do some shopping, have at least one egg salad sandwich for every 4 beers you drink, enjoy paradise.
