I forget but had he been suspended this whole time for failed marijuana tests or was it a PED or hardcore drug issue?
If it's just weed that has led to his banishment this is completely ridiculous. He's missed a year and half already.

It was also a positive alcohol test, iirc. Once you get put in the program for the NFL, they don't allow you any fun.

Don't blame the NFL about weed based suspensions, the NFLPA agreed on it.

I've always heard it is really easy to pass the normal drug tests in the NFL. Players know when a test is upcoming and only have to stay clean for a few weeks leading up to the test. They don't know the exact date, but everyone knows which week tests will be administered.
Players are screwed once they are in the program. They are subjected to multiple random tests. I don't think Gordon has passed a single test in years.

NFL wont even hear his case now. Think he was clean for a while and they still wouldn't let him come back.

I'm sure he's passed plenty. He's gotten pretty far in the reinstatement process a few times. You only hear about the failed tests tho

it is, they give you a date, and find the closest place to you. You get advanced notice. Only morons have to use the Whizzinator, and even bigger morons actually fail the tests.
It's just like with DWI's. NFL players should never have a DWI. They get 24/7, 365 car service by the League/Union. NO matter where they are, they make a call and a car will be sent to take them home.

Despite him being an idiot, the rule is even more idiotic than him failing the tests in the first place.

But pot is illegal in most states anyway.... why hasn't he served prison time???? If it were me and you we would be in da pokey for sure..... say what you want about how stupid the rules in the NFL are... you sound like it's Ozk for pro players to smoke wed yet the common person can't....
