I like and respect Johnny Miller. His best golf was probably better than anyone else's in the history of the game.
He had a season where he won three majors, 9 tournaments, and had 17 top 10s???

This is why I take very few posts seriously.

I'm not sure what is so hard to understand. I'm not talking about whole careers or whole seasons. I'm just saying when he played his best golf it was better than anybody else's

Just remember who you're talking to! most never saw Miller in his prime, have no idea how good he was and why his game fell off.

and you are an idiot

The best golf ever played resulted in 3 majors, 9 wins, and 17 top 10s in the same calendar year

threeputt knows more about golf than anybody on this site.

He's a more accomplished golfer than any of us. It's his job to know golf. If he says Miller's best is better than anybody's, then you politely say yes sir, have a seat over there, and stop calling people names.

There's no need for all the name calling, or insults.

I haven't commented ITT yet, but just because someone knows more about golf doesn't mean they can't occasionally be wrong about things. He's absolutely wrong about Johnny's best being better than Tigers best.

By this definition isn't Jim Furyk the best ever? He shot 58 on tour last year at the age of 46... and has a 59 to back that up.

*He is among the best iron players ever. Because he had to be. Because he couldn't putt for shite.

Furyk won't ever shoot 63 at Oakmont on Sunday in a US Open

But threeputt is wrong. Kim Jong Il is tGOAT. When he's on, there is nobody better. /thread
