quote:

Manziel has been fined by the Cleveland Browns for showing up late to receive treatment for his injury. As a player who is on injured reserved, Manziel did not have to participate in the Browns walk-through practice. Showing up on time for treatment was his only responsibility.

quote:

Manziel can admit he needs to work harder, but it’s more than that. He needs to fulfill all of his responsibilities to the team — even when he’s injured.

He deserves every bit of shite that he gets. He's the definition of "letting it go to your head."

I don't know if this is that really big of a deal but he's kind of brought all this on himself. He's got that allure about him.

if this where Mike Glennon or Derek Carr no one would give a shite.

He should have fallen in the draft worse than Brady Quinn. Browns knew what they were getting.

Loved what Johnny did at A&M, but you'd have to be insane to defend him at this point.

Everyone has been late to their job at least once before. Happens on every team every season. Plus he isn't playing this week. Not a big deal

+1

We don't know the whole story. He might have had good reasoning for being tardy, we don't know.

In my defense, I was never late just five days after making a big public pronouncement about how I needed to work harder at my job.

I suppose this needed to be reported, but it seems like the media is fixated on every miniscule thing about Johnny Football.

So next will we be hearing about his favorite food, his favorite song, how many students were in his third grade class in Kerrville, TX., etc.?

If he doesn't make it in the NFL, the media will miss not getting to report most things he does.
