A guy who was in a walking boot for half of that time.

Who had only played 60-70 organised basketball games in his life.

Yea total Bs For a guy with that much basketball experience to be crowned rookie of the year especially considering he hadn't played in games that mattered in over two years then from day 1 shite all over the league

Since he is hurt this year will they consider him a rookie next year. Might as well.

In the Ghost of Hinkie we trust!

For real though there is 0 reason to play him or Simmons the rest of the way. They are already like 5th or 6th worst by record.

Grab a guard and a wing with two top 6 picks (possibly two top 4 picks) and start turning it up next year.

They've done this year about what I expected of them (even better than expected when you account for no simmons and only like half a year with Embiid). I said they'd win 25-30 games. They are at 22 wins with 23 games left to go.

Doubtful we get 2 top picks. Lakers pick is top 3 protected and they are awful

They are awful, but if they finish 3rd or 4th worst, those are pretty good odds. They are at 3rd now and only a few of games worse than philly.

The real message is if he is made of duct-tape or saran wrap? The most legitimate big man since Oden and may be the same outcome as a player. I hope not. He is a talent and reminds me a lot of Duncan. The Sixers have the best IR in basketball.

I honestly think both he and Simmons are fine, but the Sixers still want to tank.

This is possible indeed. Conspiracy minded, but plausible. I hope so as they have some pieces that could be special one day.

I think so too. Both COULD play IMO if they had to.

But why?

This

He is like the 4th or 5th player in the last few years that they have totally lied to the public about how serious the injury was by constantly saying the player was day to day and making great progress only the turn around and say the guy is done for the year and had a way worse injury that they knew about.

Embiid has played 13% of possible games in 3 seasons.

Philly just traded away Noel for nothing due to this guy

but he had 30 good minutes vs the rockets so someone will max him

Embiid did quite a bit more than have a single good game against Choke City.

In 31 games he put up

20.2 ppg, 46.5% FG%, 36.7% 3pt%, 7.8 rpg, 2.1 apg, 2.5 bpg, and 0.9 spg.

If he could stay healthy he'd be a top 10 player in the league.
