JJ Redick tells Zach Lowe full details of the DeAndre Jordan saga

Pretty good listen. I did not realize that Redick had a house in Austin. So he literally did drive a car to Houston. I love how he couldn't believe how slow the media was on this.

But Redick claims that Jordan and Griffin got dinner in Houston on Tuesday. And nobody noticed. I also think it's funny that he said Ramona Shelburne texted him on Tuesday asking if he wanted her to clean up his F- grade quotes about the Clippers free agency, and he said he still believed everything he said. He basically laughed it off, just like I imagine I would if Ramona texted me.
He also cracked up about the Paul Pierce emoji thing. He said that Paul Pierce has really weird emoji apps on his phone, like ones he's never heard of. So he is still unsure about what happened, even after talking to Pierce.
Redick's favorite tweet: Bleacher Report tweeting the video of the Wolf of Wall Street mash-up. LINK
I just love how Reddick talks about the internet in general. He likes the drama just as much as we do.
But Redick claims that Jordan and Griffin got dinner in Houston on Tuesday. And nobody noticed. He said that the Clippers had one major goal in Free Agency. Retain Jordan. Now they've done that.
He was right losing Jordan and having no cap space absolutely fricked them. He also discusses the Houston series very candidly. I tend to like Redick, except for the whole abortion contract thing.

Yeah. He is really a straight shooter who you can tell wants to be very honest. He even had a spot in the interview where he tried not to give a couple of names, and he ended up doing it.

He expands. He talks about how that usual communication works with the agents (on both ends), and that players aren't used to making those calls. He said he has no idea what Feigen's role is at this point though.
He actually said that the Clippers tried to go back on their first offer to him (Redick) at one point. He said people go back on their offers and agreements.

I enjoyed when he was discussing when the Clippers were debating on trading for him and how Sterling didn't want to do the trade and one of the possible reasons was because he is white

Yeah. That was great. Zach Lowe is saying that he's never been invited to the ESPYs.
JJ brought up how he was nominated for an ESPY, and they revoked his nomination.

Also, regarding Shelbourne...he totally gave himself up as her "source"
Not sure if anyone followed her/saw her on ESPN on Wednesday night but she kept reporting stuff from a source that left the meeting. Well Redick left the meeting.

I know a few people like Redick. They always seems to know everything, but they also seem to tell everyone everything.
