Multiple new york jets players miss team meeting on west coast, because of confusion dealing with pacific time....

Do they not have phones that automatically change the time for time zones? Seems like this would be very hard to do.

Exactly. This might be one of the worst excuses ever for missing a meeting.

just looked up the stats. All I saw was the score yesterday. The Jets were trailing the whole game and had less than 100 passing yards

IIRC, they couldn't even get past midfield until late and even then, that might have been due to a penalty

As one of the few resident jets fans on this board, it does not surprise me in the least that the players cannot tell time. Their GMs have been atrocious.

They tell you to just subtract 3 hours from NY time.
Then they schedule the meeting for 2 pm. You do the math and you are supposed to show up at -1.

Deadspin is saying the stupid Jets coaching staff wanted the team to stay on East Cost time when they head west. So the players got confused by the time switch. Apparently, this happens on the regular when they head west.
