Bernardini has a fine pedigree. However, I will willingly laugh at anyone willing to pay 85K to send a mare to him. Basically his SW usually are GSW ( 20 of 27), but there are few enough of those. The kicker is that if you don't get a good one, you aren't getting shite. Seriously, he has never gotten less than a sterling crop of mares knocking on his stall door, and his winner % is 37%. That is just unbelievable given the circumstances. His avg earning/ starter are 72K. His AEI is 1.6 off of a 2.91 CI. His yearlings avg @200k and median @120K. This is laughable.

For comparison sake, one can pay 60K for Ghostzapper and get 8% SW and 49% winners. HIs av earnings/starter is @110K, giving hims a AEI of 2.3 off a 2.11 CI and yet his yearlings avg 100k and median is 50k.

Tell me again the sales market isn't a bit of a rigged game, where people who bought shares in him are trying to convince others that the horses really are worth the money.

that happens to many horses. Beau genius and Woodman have always been screwd over in the barn.
