Ty Cobb has to be up there, he would do anything it took to reach a base and his attacked a disabled man who heckled him with slurs. I will say that many of the negative things associated with Cobb came from the Al Stump's ghost written autobiography, released after Cobb's death, which made Cobb look worse than he actually was. Still Cobb was a mean SOB and in today's game players wouldn't put up with his dirty play.
Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling have to be up there. Every time I think of Schilling I picture with that towel over his head.
