You've made some solid points in this thread, but you've got to stop trying to turn this thing political when it isn't.

Javale acts like he created Shaqtin to pick on him. He would have been on the NBA Bloopers vhs tapes that came out back in the day.

Someone's idea that he should be a Mayhem guy for AllState was solid. McGee owes any popularity he has to Shaq.

That's Google's comparison of McGee (blue) to CJ McCollum (red). CJ came into the league in 2013, has been a very good player, and won most improved player in 2016. McGee's popularity is comparable, if not better, despite being a role player most of that stretch.

Shaq is in the media. He says what he says about McGee on TV and we all laugh at it. To engage in a twitter fight with a "bum" when you're a HOF player says enough about Shaq's character.

Frick GSW for all I care. My problem is if dude is a bum, why engage in a twitter fight?

They'll kiss and make up and Javale will still find his way on the blooper reel. It's not about the bloopers, it's about Shaq and his inability to be above the twitter shite. But, he's an LSU guy, so he's just one of the boys.

The only reason Shaq is in the media is because of personality and inclination to partake in childish feuds. This is what he does, and many people enjoy it.

Commissioner won't get involved, except to ask the analyst to refrain from getting involved in twitter fights.

Almost like, and wait for this hot take, Twitter is a form of media.

Such a retarded thing you keep saying. If anything, how about the commissioner keep his players from Twitter melting, since an NBA player is the one who put EAD on it.....

Javale should've asked Shaq "if my nuts are on your chest, are they called chestnuts?"

No bc it is relevant man. The Warriors go around bullying others all the time. Steve Kerr has made multiple rude remarks about our president which could be deemed bullying while at the same time his biggest beef with Trump is that he's a supposed "bully". He specifically said

"I thought we were better than this"

How is that not a rude remark? Yet Steve Kerr can be part of the contingent quietly messaging TNT to stop the bullying of their own guy? Actually just 2 days ago steve kerr made another smart arse comment about the president and his use of twitter

quote:

“Twitter is great,” Kerr said. “Our president has proven what an effective form of communication it can be. You can even use it in international relations, policy decision making. Twitter is bigly.”

LINK

he literally has made mutliple rude comments about trump and is non stop, I get it he's pandering to his base out in such a liberal hotbed, but he's nonstop as much as shaq is.

The fact of the matter is a month ago the under armor CEO spoke his mind and supported Trump and said he was an asset for business, and then steph curry goes on his twitter and calls Donald Trump an "Arse" and the whole world starts freaking out about Steph Curry potentially leaving under armor over the matter and suddenly the Under Armor CEO apologizes about his alleged "lewd comment".

The warriors can be bullies about what they pick and choose right? Steph can troll the president and steve kerr can troll trump but if Shaq trolls one of their own its an issue and the front office has to message TNT to make it stop? Im just saying you cant be the guys who troll others and then go crying when people troll one of your own. Draymond Green was the one who went at shaq originally about the trolling and then the night he said that, Draymond was out there calling Paul Pierce a bum on the basketball court. How ridiculous is that?

These guys get paid millions of dollars, if we wanna laugh at them being bums then we're allowed to. Javale McGee wouldn't even sniff 1 years salary of his in the real world so when the guy makes clumsy play after clumsy play we're allowed to say he sucks, if he doesnt like it, then dont suck. Barkley said just as much, he said we haven't talked about Javale in a while bc he's been playing well. It's not hard to not show up on Shaqtin a Fool, you just dont play like you're on a blooper real. Javale gets minimal minutes and yet he's a clown show of epic proportion.

I just think its fitting the Warriors are out in California, the most democrat state in the union bc they can pick and choose who they troll yet when one of their own is trolled its a big deal and they need the media and the front office help to make it stop.

She also said this gem....

quote:

... He is bullying men of color. When you bully men of color who play your same position … we as a society have to stop condoning ignorant behavior. And, yes, as African-Americans, we have always had individuals who will sell out their communities for two barrels of rum. This is straight-up black-on-black oppression.

How can she even begin to make this about race? She must have missed all the times the white players were on Shaqtin a Fool too. What a stupid arse statement.

when someone brings up race and cries racism in a non-race discussion, are they underlying racists?

The Players Only show was awful. It was bad enough having Lisa Leslie and Brent Barry call a game but to have no Ernie or Chuck?
