Don't forget the team he was planning to return to getting all those #1 overall picks

So, it would have been a better decision to go to a team without any good players?

He was on a team with a ton of star players: bosh, wade, ray allen

but he knew those guys were getting past their prime and wouldn't help him in his push for 6 rings so he bolted to save face in clev bc they had kyrie and wiggins. He would've never gone back if those 2 picks had been botched, not a chance in hell, dont you or clev fans think that. This wasn't about Lebron saving face in his hometown, it was about doing that bc the team finally had talent.

So he did what he had to do to maximize his chance to win the most, is that what you're saying?

Did you see Lavar Ball basically Lebron a pussy today too? I think he posts on this forum

quote:

"I don't care what LeBron said," Ball said. "He talking about he warned me. He warned me for what? What is a warning going to do? Nothing."

quote:

Ball also referred to James as "touchy" a day after the four-time NBA MVP told ESPN that Ball's invocation of James' family is "a problem now."

Touchy = Pussy as I've stated he was many a time

And if Lebron kept his mouth shut you'd say he's a pussy for not standing up for himself.

It's funny that you act like no one sees through your whiny schtick.

Hey point your anger at Lavar Ball, he's the one who called Lebron touchy, not me

"We Lack Toughness" - Lebron James After Loss To Nuggets

Nothing says toughness like sitting out games while healthy king james, way to be a leader man.

quote:

"It ain't about a group. It's about individuals," James said after Cleveland allowed Denver to put up 73 points in the first half, score a whopping 70 points in the paint in the game and shoot 53.1 percent from the field and 42.3 percent from 3. "We've got to be more, just do more. It ain't about no group. You can't preach toughness. You've got to have it."

quote:

"Um, one thing about it: I always bring toughness to the game. I know that. That's for sure."

toughness like flopping and whining all game long, right shel?

Dale Jr never really deserved/lived up to the hype, tbh. His surname is why he's a star more than anything.

Mychal Thompson wasn't a superstar, but he did go #1 overall and was a very good scorer for a few years, over 20 ppg. Klay Thompson is his son.

Bobby Bonds and Barry Bonds are probably the best one I can think of, they were both superstars.

ETA forgot Archie Manning and his 2 Hall of Famer sons

Cle def had some good young pieces but if you took LBJ off of this Cavs team they are fighting for a playoff spot. No other player in the league would have that roster as a legit contender.

The team with the highest payroll in the league and two other all-stars? You have got to be joking.

Kevin Love averages 14 and 7 in the postseason. That's not all star caliber. Kyrie is legit but in no way capable of leading a team in the postseason. Durant is the only other player that could get them close but they wouldn't be very good on D. LBJ's versatility on both sides of the ball allows the Cavs to the successful.
