Sounds like an endorsement for Kawhi, no?

This is the hilarious thing to me.

If you pick the player who absolutely means the most to his team this year, it's Russ.

If you put more emphasis on winning, and want to pick the most meaningful player on that team, it's Kawhi...

Harden really should have kept his mouth shut on this matter. This is embarrassing.

James Harden says wins should be top factor in MVP race
Okay then it should be Curry or Kawhi.. Either way he's not getting it.

First off I'm finally convinced Russ is the MVP. He's a great player and having one of the best season's in the History of the NBA.

But..I get where Harden is coming from. He's basically saying if I had a better season then Curry in 15' but Curry had the better team then why should Russ Win the MVP over him when he's having just as a remarkable season as Russ on a more successful team? Especially when the Rockets were picked to finished 9th in the western conference.

So stop calling Harden a whiny bitch when he has a very fair point!

No it shouldn't. Y'all are retarded if you actually think Curry or Kawhi should Win MVP on basically all star teams that were picked preseason as the #1 and #2 teams in the NBA.

So Lebron in '12 and '13 and Curry in '15 or '16 shouldn't have won?

Actually no I don't think Curry should have won in 2015. Harden clearly had the better year. That's why he got the Players MVP. The other years nobody was even putting any pressure on Steph or Bron. So i really don't see your point?

A lot has happened in the past 2 weeks. Harden got injured and Russ went off. There was no doubt Harden was the MVP 2 weeks ago.

Did Westbrook not raise his team up, and did they not win more games because of how he played?
Did he not put them in their best possible position?

Because I think he did.

Imagine that - all that running his mouth about not taking nights off and he ends up injured anyway.

He wasn't "injured" he had the flu. He has been playing with a wrist injury the past 3 weeks. Pay attention more...

I am. Harden and his fans made a big deal about playing every game, yet they harp on his injury and sickness as the reason he'll miss out on the award. Perhaps he should have taken better care of himself during the year and he wouldn't have this problem.

Dude what? He missed one game with the flu.. He has played through a wrist injury the last 3 weeks. He's the toughest player in the league so gtfo. Russ has just taken off these past 2 weeks while Harden has been struggling with his ailing wrist.
