Not m/tv because of the subject matter. I just saw it as a "featured" thing on the home screen yesterday so I assume it's pretty new. Really looking forward to watching, probably this weekend.
For those who have seen it, how is it?

Interesting and worth a watch. Not objective though. Very pro Iverson.

Is it the 30 for 30? I liked it but it's very pro Iverson. Still interesting to hear how rough he grew up and see his HS bball and football footage, which is insane

Hmmm, I forgot there was a 30 for 30 actually. Do they put 3f3s on netflix? I didn't actually pay close enough attention to see if it was a seprate film.

I think Showtime produced it. IMO it wouldn't be difficult to portray Iverson a POS. The film does the opposite. Victim, unfair, blah blah blah. I agree with you though - he was an amazing athlete.

Netflix has a shite ton of 30 for 30s, I've been watching the shite out of them lately.

he really wasn't a thug though. he wasn't a chior boy // saint but he wasn't toting a gun around or anything he wasn't in a gang, he grew up from the hood, wore baggy clothes and had tats. he did get into georgetown he wasn't an idiot. he was edgy and was popular with youth but that edginess also made him a target.
javaris crittenton is the one i want to see a documentary on.

Correct but the brawl, subsequent jail time, and the fact that he looked like what people think thugs look like prohibits people from seeing that.

Yea Iverson wasn't a thug, he wanted to be a thug.

Wrong place at the wrong time kinda thing. Randy Moss's situation was a lil different.

I enjoyed it. It was def pro-Iverson though...made a lot of excuses, but still interesting.

I've seen the Showtime a while back. The most interesting part is the backstory to the infamous "Practice" presser. If more people could see it, then I think people would have a different perspective on the incident
