It's official, Ohio State was better off losing to Penn State

In hindsight it was best "victory" of the year for them. They still make the playoff without having to play another tough game against a good team, not risking injuries and getting an extra week of rest. They even get to avoid Bama in the semis.

If PSU had beaten Pitt OSU may not be celebrating today. That's just what it is

Such BS. I hope they get skullf$&ked in the semis.
Both Western Michigan and Penn State were more deserving.

I wish they asked the chairman that question

If an undefeated Ohio State has lost a close game to Wisconsin last night, they still would have been in.

If they would've beaten Penn State but lost to Wisconsin last night they would probably still be in genius

They would've been just like Bama yesterday, could lose and still have spot locked.

Nah, throttling the Big 12 champ on the road was.

Yeah, this does a lot for 18-22 year olds that would still get 4 weeks off before the playoff game.

If Ohio State beat Penn State and then won the Big Ten Championship, they would have avoided Alabama anyways.

Probably, but one more game's worth of injuries and they'd probably be the four seed matched up against Bama.

I'm not t all a Penn state fan.

They got fricked in the ordeal. OSU came out smelling like a rose....

Penn state had one more loss but had to play an extra game against a very good team for the conference championship.

They beat OSU.

They did drop to Pitt who was very good. Good enough to beat Clemson.

It's horseshite

Why is everyone comparing a one loss team to a two loss team?

Had they beaten Penn State and lost the B1GCG they would have had an even better record and even tougher schedule and they would still be in the playoffs.

Klarvy-poo, you're my boo, but Jesus dude, you're way off on this shite.

can you grasp rivalry game concept?

Pitt and State Penn, their egg bowl, iron bowl.

Pitt was good enough to beat Clem too. it wasn't a fluke.
