You can't just lay on top of someone in boxing when you need a breather. You have to conserve energy during the course of a round, and do so without giving up the round.

You mean wrestling right? Because everyone knows that doesn't take much energy. I agree that CM will lose but I wonder how many of you have even watched an MMA match

Good think nobody in a boxing match has ever wrapped up with their opponent to catch a few seconds

What are you trying to get at? Of course he has boxed before, that's besides the point

Sounds like he's had some amateur training and he boxes some during his MMA fights. Zero professional fights, but somehow the guy above thinks he has more than a shot in hell of winning this match.

I just don't understand it. Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest professional boxers of all-time, albeit a little bitch.

Connor McGregor is a glorified cage fighter who has ZERO professional boxing experience.

A straight up boxing match will be over in 30 seconds.

Wrestling requires s hell of a lot of energy.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

I haven't wrestled, but I've done judo and Brazilian jiu jitsu (haven't trained in a while) but I felt that judo was more exhausting.

Then again my conditioning wasn't as good when I was learning judo as it was for bjj

Its like they think Mcgregor has never boxed in his life.

Nobody thinks that. The fact that McGregor has boxed before is irrelevant.

Mayweather is an ELITE PROFESSIONAL boxer. Connor McGregor has some amateur experience and spars as part of his MMA training.

A lot of professional athletes have a decent golf game, but Tony Romo isn't going to compete with Phil Mickelson at Augusta. It's just retarded to talk about.

Do you think Mayweather can submit Demian Maia in a MMA match if Mayweather trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsui for 6 months?
Your analogy is terrible. Do better.

Yes you could. Conor was finished because he got rocked on the feet.

Again, Floyd Mayweather is an elite boxer with fantastic technical offensive and defensive boxing skills. Connor McGregor is not. In a straight up boxing match Mayweather can do whatever he wants to someone like McGregor and there's nothing he can do about it, other than stand there and get his forearms caved in for a few seconds.
