There's the obvious group at the top of Westbrook, Harden, and Curry. Paul is still up there as well.

Is Wall breaking into that elite level?

Has been for a year or two, now.

He's the best PG in the Eastern Conference- he's probably held that role since Derrick Rose's knee exploded, though.

yes and probably the 2nd most unguardable pg in the nba behind westbrook. he's just too fast. and he actually plays defense.

wall is better than kyrie i don't even know if you can really even call kyrie a true PG these days he's basically a shooting guard that plays the point guard position

Don't know if I'd include Harden in the PG conversation. He's more of a 2. My current top 5 is Westbrook, Curry, Kyrie, Thomas, and Wall. CP3 and Lillard are not far behind

In that case, would you consider Curry a PG?

Posters will try and chime in with Kyrie, but Wall is a better all around player. While his D has slipped this year, he is still one of the best defenders at the point in the league. He is also a past first guy and can be a magician in the p&r game. When his shot is on he is unguardable.

Yes. Curry has the ability to make his surrounding cast better through his passing ability. That is something Kyrie should be able to do more of but he is just too much one-on-one. This isn't sayung much, but Curry is still a slightly more capable defender than Kyrie. Slightly

applies to many perimeter players in the NBA.

He's pretty much a point and has been for two seasons now. His usage rate was 34.2 this season. That entire offense runs through his playmaking ability.

What i meant was that he isn't a natural shooter and that forcing him to shoot is still the best way to play him defensively.

Westbrook
Curry
Harden
Wall
Best PG in the East and probably the second best player in the East.

iMHO john wall is the best PURE PG in the nba. he's going to get you 25 and 12 every night, plays defense and you cannot stay in front of him

then i would say chris paul, then IT, then after that it really doesn't matter

harden isn't a real PG. I would put kyrie in my top 20 in the league,ut he's not a real pg.

reallay greak freak has to be in the convo he's a point guard. he starts at the point and is top 20 in the league in assists

Let us not forget about the likes of Jimmy Butler and PG13

i.e., back off, prevent penetration and hope he misses from deep.

that only works until a guy gets a lather up. its like hack a Wilt Chamberlain.
His 100 point game included over 30 made Its. He found the range.

I am genuinely curious as to how you can say Greek is but James isn't.
