Is this the best come-from-behind victory in a relay race ever?

The eventual winner is not who you think it is. I suggest watching the video from the 3:00 minute mark, just before the start of the last lap:

Worth the watch just for the announcers' voices.

I seen it a few weeks ago. As a former 4x400 runner, it was gratifying seeing that come back and knowing that she gave it her all falling down at the finish line.

Yeesh, what a terrible effort from everyone else.
I wonder how bad her chin was injured from the fall?

Here is the best part. She decided to run the anchor leg of the race just 20 minutes before the race.

In the end, she pulled just ahead of "future Olympian" Michelle Finn to clinch first place, tripping and falling on the track.
Her incredible comeback has over two million views on YouTube since it was posted April 18, and likely many more on other sites where it was posted.
The third-year nursing student is pleased by the attention, especially because she only decided to be part of the 4x400 relay 20 minutes beforehand, she told the Irish Examiner.
“I had ran in the 100 and 200 metres and one of the girls just asked would I fill in on the last leg and I said ‘throw me in and I’ll see what I can do.'"

I watched it with the volume off at first, but after the comments in here I turned the volume on and what a call. Apparently 2nd place is going to be an Olympian and she too was chased down in the last leg.

Same here. Love that race!
Still remember the "butterflies" I'd get when they'd start calling for the event. Then the complete exhaustion right after. Then the sort of "euphoria" when your body started settling down again a few minutes later. Damn I miss those days!

I saw that in my fb feed last week. That girl had so much desire to win that race. Simply amazing. Never seen anything like it. Talk about leaving it all out there. I hope the face plant didn't hurt too much.

Amazing the gal in the yellow was the anchor leg. She should've gone first to let her teammates play catchup.
Fantastic finish though for the winner. Plus, she is

Did anyone see the coverage of this on the Dan Patrick show? Pretty funny. They interviewed the 'depths of hell' announcer.

First off, I can see how the girl in blue is going to be a future Olympian. She gave every ounce of energy during that final leg.
I want to know what the hell kind of time the first-place finisher ran in order to make up such a huge gap.

How is that last girl in yellow on a track team, that was absolutely pathetic.
