Kid throws some nice balls, but do you think he has legit future in the league? We have seen back ups like Oz and then flame out.

He has all the makeup of a great QB. Size, arm, he was clutch tonight. So I'll say yes. Plus he sat for a few years which almost always benefits them.

He might be, but this sample size is obviously too small.

Denver has had a great QB run lately - Oz, Manning, and Tebow.

Didn't work so well for Mallet and I thought he'd for sure be at least decent. I like the way Brock plays and he seems to have 'it' that successful quarterbacks have.

I don't think he'll ever be a Peyton or Tom where he'll win games single handedly and make receivers better, but he could definitely be a top 10 qb in the league I think.

I am in no way saying that he will ever be anywhere near as good as Aaron but it feels like that Aaron Rodgers/Brett Favre feel to me.

Sitting behind and learning from one of the greatest, who happens to be in the twilight of their careers. Watching Peyton go through the motions had to help.

ETA: Don't crucify me for the comparison

I still think once mallett grows up hell put a,few goid years together.

I think teams rush qbs out way too early. Usually u let a guy sit 3-4 years they turn out decent look at tyrod Taylor, etc. Hell even gabbert looks decent now that he has sat a few years

Including stupidly running out of bounds and giving the Pats an extra 35 seconds.

You can tell the people that only watched his last two drives where his running game did most of the work and now think he's a beast

From what I saw, he played a decent game, but it absolutely drives me bonkers when professionals can't seem to execute on the basics of clock management.
