Their highest ranked recruit is #114 and their class is ranked #52. They appear to be falling off in a big way.

They've lost that right. They shall be called "North Carolina" from this day forward.

With Paige and Justin Jackson leading the way, they have a chance to be pretty good this season. Overall though yeah I think they've fallen out of elite status.

Anyone notice that Roy Williams sucked the moment the NCAA stopped allowing him to cheat with no punishment.

They didn't need a huge class. They bring everyone back (outside of JP Tokoto). Kenny Williams is coming in and known to be a sharp shooter which they badly need. They will be just fine next year. I would expect their 2016 class to be great. They already have a 5* PG committed for 2017 in Jalek Felton (Raymond Felton's nephew).

Maybe now they'll institute the death penalty after they've started to fade? Finally?

They are in contention to be the preseason number one team this upcoming season. Do you really follow college basketball ?

Granted, if this team busts than the answer to your question is yes

Thats cool and all, but for the past few years, UNC has been overrated in nearly every preseason poll in all of the big three sports.

Its funny how biased people are towards them.

2011-2012:
Basketball
Preseason: #1
Final: #6

Baseball
Preseason: #4
Final: #17

2012-2013:
Basketball

Final: Unranked

Baseball
Preseason: #4
Final: #3 - Outlier

2013-2014:
Basketball
Preseason: #11
Final: #21

Baseball
Preseason: #12
Final: Unranked

2014-2015:
Football
Preseason: #23
Final: Unranked

Basketball

Baseball
Preseason: #15
Currently: Unranked

They are recruiting prospects in the teens and 20's, as opposed to the elite guys they used to get. They will benefit from that next year as they have a bunch of talented 5*'s who are good, but not good enough to have already gone pro.

Don't think it is a strategy for long term success and I think they will be a disappointment this year, offense will be elite but they won't be stopping anyone.

I'd make an argument for Duke fans, too. I know a girl who has never lived a day of her life outside of Jefferson and St. John Parishes who is a "huge Duke fan."

I'd like to see a good bit of roy's wins & championships taken away and have him fired and go out in flames

Look up some things that you figure only a true Duke fan would know. Then call her out and ask her. Maybe she reads alot of news on them, and maybe is involved in forums about their team. They are also on national tv a good bit, so yeah.

He gets away with it because he looks like a Baptist minister.

If he had grease in his hair and his last name ended in an "o," he'd have been nailed to the wall by now.
