won't see Wilder in the ring with Fury or Joshua. He knows better than to mess with anyone with a skillset and some power.

Joshua would embarrass Wilder and his corner knows it.

Also, what's this shite about Wilder wanting Joshua ?

That fight hasn't even been discussed seriously?

That's all BS to throw around in the media to make it look like he's interested when he's really just hiding under Haymon's skirt.

BINGO. Why do people not check these statements out?

Joshua is only 17 fights into his career while Wilder is 36 fights into his.

Time is ticking for Wilder and I've never seen a guy brought along more slowly than him. What the hell.

They are riding out the cash cow while it last because they know he will lose to either fury or Joshua I believe.

I like Wilder but in no way is he "up to fight whoever" like they enjoy saying

The only fighter close to D is Vlad. Who the frick is Fury and Joshua us a baby.

wut

The guy that won nearly every round against Wlad last November and took his belt(s).

quote:

Joshua us a baby.

And has already fought better opposition than Wilder, with only half the fights.

No, but 1) no one said it was and 2) how does that apply to the Fury/Joshua discussion?

And the ONLY reason Wilder signed to fight Povetkin is the WBC decided to enforce their rules for once and they told him if he didn't fight Povetkin, his title was getting stripped. Do you realize that after the WBC said this, Haymon offered his then-IBF champ Charles Martin to Povetkin instead, so that way he could save Wilder? The WBC stepped in and said f-ck no, it's Wilder or you lose the belt. That's when Haymon sent Martin to the UK to fight Joshua and had to agree to let Wilder go to Russia for the Povetkin fight.

But go ahead, tell me I'm a Haymon hater and I'll keep giving yall the facts and continue proving the dude is full of shite.

I don't disagree with this Chiz. I want to see him fight any of other belt holders and eventually all of them. The sport needs it.

All of the "boxing is dead" naysayers are full of shite. Manny/Floyd showed that. That one fight was worth the ENTIRE value of the UFC.

Having seen him fight only a couple of times before, I was rather unimpressed with Wilder. He obviously missed his opportunity to end this fight early. His ring presence and inside defense are a bit dificult to watch.

He broke his hand and tore his bicep early in the fight and STILL battered CA. Give the guy a break.

I agree with his defense. Low hands like that are going to get him put to sleep against anyone with speed.

Ok when did he break his hand? I never saw him once shake his hand. I am somewhat skeptical and it's being used as an excuse why he didn't get him out earlier.

Instead of bitching about it I was happy to see some boxing on free OTA TV on a Saturday night. Popped a few beers and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Hope this becomes a regular occurrence and brings the sport back to the people.

Same. I don't know shite about boxing, but I find it entertaining. Especially now I have someone I can root for. Grabbed some wild blue beer, got buzzed, and enjoyed it.
