Names aside, just look at the stats. Is Matt Rayn deserving of the league MVP?

Even if the answer is yes, the answer is no

As a Saints fan I say no. But all the hate aside, I'd give it to him.

Nope. The MVP belongs to Tom Brady.

Was hoping the Saints would spoil that for him
But he finished the season with a huge game, and they are the 2nd seed. So yea, he could for sure win it. He has had a great year. Has to be Brady or Ryan.

I think Brady wins it based on name. However Brady only played 12 games.

Who's playing on a team that went 3-1 without him

Not this year. No way. He'll probably get it because it's him, but he's not the MVP by definition this year.

Yes dude's stats this year are insane

28titties to just 2 interceptions seals it. He is a boring pick because he is a past winner. But it is the correct selection.

I don't think he's the best player on his team, so no.
He's benefitting from the talent on that roster, IMO.

He has monster stats, and if we didn't have him, we'd be 3-13.

Ryan has had an incredible year, not sure what his total yards are but it's got to first or second on the year. I hate the Falcons but he needs to be a strong consideration for MVP.

56 short of 5k passing total

He's thrown TDs to 13 different players, the dude is extremely talented

Would be the oldest MVP since the 1960s I believe

It's crazy that brees has had 5 seasons of over 5k. Nobody in the NFL has had more than one but he wasn't in the pro bowl this year. I guess that's what happens when your team sucks
