It's crazy to think that shite even happened. Didn't the media make some big stink about his gf having cancer and he was claiming he was going to see her and playing for her and all this bullshite. And them poof she was gone and never existed. Wtf? Am I missing something?

Somehow his PR team convinced everyone that he didn't create her and that he was catfished. Which made him an idiot instead of a sociopath

I think I remember seeing testimonials from his teammates about how dedicated he was to her and a bunch of dumb shite. That has got to be one of the all time craziest sports stories.

I remember hearing the interview he gave on Jim Rome about losing his girlfriend. I was driving to a home health patients house and couldn't believe his story. Think I told a few buddies later on that day what a horrible story it was.
