He retired in 2010 so he should be eligible for the next ballot

Most certainly. In addition to the numbers, he's a "clean" player from the steroid era, and is well liked by the media.

Yes. One person you never heard his name coming up during the "steroid" era. He has the numbers right? Great player and from what I always read a good guy. Not saying being a good guy should get you in but his numbers should.

Character, integrity, and sportsmanship are clearly stated criteria for the HOF. So numbers + being a good guy = HOF.
