He's Megatron 2.0

No better.

Still amazing.

he'll be in the convo but never considered top 3. Moss, Rice, and Megatron (possibly others) will always be higher.

He's going to be the best football player on every football field he steps on while he's in his prime. Will that translate in to the numbers needed to be considered the GOAT? Probably not.

Don't care for the guy, but Odell would be a better argument considering the start to his career.

Julio's 6 seasons:

40 TDs
7610 yards (96 YPG)
497 receptions

Odell's 3 seasons:

35 TDs
4122 yards (96 YPG)
288 receptions

Major thing that jumps out to me is that Julio doesn't score enough TDs. Odell is only 5 touchdowns less than him and in half the time. Yards and receptions look damn good, though. I do think Julio is definitely the better WR right now, and it's between him and Brown for the top spot. Odell has just had an insane start.

He's the best skill player in football right now. If it weren't for him being constantly injured or at least hobbled, he could put up a Megatron 2k type season every year.

Will be interesting to see how the Patriots try to scheme him out of the game like they do to most other team's number 1 option. Julio is open even when he's not.

No

Since he has been drafted the Falcons have played 96 games. Julio Jones has either missed or played injured in 47 of those games, often significantly limiting him when he did play. He's also nearly 40 touchdowns behind Moss and Rice at the six year mark.

He's just hurt too often and doesn't get in the endzone enough to be in the conversation.

He averages the most yards per game ever and has the most explosive plays(20yds) despite having a QB with a average arm.

No. Rice will forever be the GOAT because of his insane numbers over an extremely long career. Julio will be considered among the best but he's injured too often.

Dude, stop with the "playing hurt " narrative. He played "hurt" yesterday.Had 180 yards and 2 TD's.It s freakin absurd to use it a some type stat.God,every player in the NFL plays "hurt" half the time.

Randy Moss was the most physically gifted football player I have ever seen. Julio is awesome but he's not on Moss's level. When he was truly focused, at his peak he was probably the best WR of all time. His peak didn't last anywhere near as long as Rice's did and that's mostly his own fault because he was an idiot. Rice had the best career of any WR ever by a country mile.

Didn't quite get to see Rice in his late 80s-early 90s prime. I was about 3 years too late.

You need to keep in mind that our offense is designed to spread the ball around. Many times he is a decoy that opens up other plays which is why the Falcons had an incredible amount of people who caught a touchdown pass this year.

No because he's injury prone plus much of his success the past two seasons is due to Kyle Shanahan's offense.

This year, yes. Not previous years.

All of this.

Jerry Rice worked harder/ trained harder and it showed.

Moss wasn't always willing to pay the price I guess but talent wise I'd agree he's the best I've seen.

I think Julio is the best WR in the league right now but since he deals with injuries (like the toe injury) often he might not get the props he deserves. He went off yesterday but I figured that he would.. Green Bay's defense was depleted plus they just weren't that good to begin with it.

Dez Bryant had a similar game the week before against them.

I'm not falling for the knee jerk reaction based off yesterday, I just think he's the best when healthy but that's an issue for him.

It was really only 2014 (don't remember exact stats but he had a 260 yard game in Lambeau on Monday night) and 2015 (1800+ yards) where he was the main weapon. In his first three seasons, the offense still had Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez playing at high levels too.
