Is Joe Buck JR the worst ?

My biggest issue with him is he calls a big moment in Game 7 of the World Series or the Super Bowl the same as a 1st down in the 1st Quarter of Week 2.

He's not the worst, but he's definitely not worthy of being part of the #1 team for the MLB and NFL. Being paired with Aikman for NFL games who is legit the best color guy right now really makes it apparent how average he is.

Criticism of Joe Buck is one of those lame internet e-cool things to do. Most idiots don't know why Joe Buck allegedly sucks, they've just heard others say it so they join the herd.
Actually, Buck is a solid PBP announcer. He has a fairly sharp wit, has a good announcers voice and doesn't get in the way of the action. People revere Pat Summerall for being understated. But since Buck doesn't sound like a 12 year old girl who just got a kitten on a 3 yard dive play like the awful Gus Johnson and somehow that's a mark against Buck.

See I hate Gus Johnson too for same reason I hate Buck. They're just on opposite ends of the spectrum. Johnson overreacts to everything and Buck under reacts to everything. Gus calling soccer games was truly the worst announcing I have ever heard in my life.

He says a lot of stupid/awkward things, he's constantly being corrected on basic Xs and Os and time management by Aikman. He's kind of a dork and makes awkward comments that leave dead air in their wake as I imagine his broadcast partner gives him a WTF look.
He has a good voice and he keeps his emotions in check well, but he's like watching the office sometimes in that it's so awkward you want to change the channel.
