I miss big time prize fights. The Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson matches were the tits.

Never been much into MMA. Just overly barbaric and trashy imo. Kinda like an organized bar fight.

Those were pretty awesome, I think if the Mayweather Pacquiao fight would have happened a few years ago that would have been huge for the sport.

There just isn't a market for boxing anymore. I mean most of the heavyweights are foreign that no one domestically can identify with. Also most of the skilled fighters now are going the way of MMA because that's where the money is.

I would have loved to see Klitschko fight some of those 90's heavyweights in their prime. Those would have been epic.

What I also loved about those huge fight weekends were the undercard matches. I used to love watching those with my Dad. Some were great fights and some were just plain hilarious. And who could forget Fan Man!

To me MMA is one step from letting guys use weapons, and two steps from a fight to the death match.

I am still a fan...when I am in Europe, see more coverage than here..

I am disappointed it has dropped off...

And seems like others here, I am no fan of MMA.

Boxing is much more my thing.

Shows me youve never seen a ufc fight, not since the 90s atleast,

Boxing is more dangerous to the fighters than MMA by a long shot.

They only fought once and Vitali was up on the cards 4-2 and was probable going stop Lennox in the next couple of rounds but the doctor stopped the fight because of a nasty cut.

What if we put it like this: grown men trying to get "full mount" on each other for five minutes at a time is a touch more homoerotic than maybe I prefer.

I've seen live fights, and I've seen live MMA, and live boxing is a better product for viewing. But it's more dangerous long-term, imo. I think this is the reason it's dying.
