Is Fanduel Always this bad?
Posted by Drank on 11/17/15 at 8:55 pm60
Every single tourney I entered had the same people listed over and over and over and over again. Are these full time gamblers who just do this, or have inside info or both? This is crazy. It went on for the first few hundred (all of the paying) spots.
And it kept going and going and going.
That was a fun 1 day experiment for me. Scratched that itch and promptly closed the account.

On the $1, $2 contests yes. I play single entry games or specific slots like 8pm NBA only games to get away from the algorithm nerds.
Ah didn't see the single entry games. Oh well. Do you make any money on there?

Yes. You should watch the John Oliver segment on it LINK

Yeah I try to avoid the multiple entry contests, but my biggest complaint is their 4% rate of release per every dollar spent to claim your bonus for signing up using a promo code. I deposited $25 in Aug and am still riding that bitch out, but I've only gotten it down to $22.24 so far. Once it runs out I'm done for this year.

The "double ups" are fairly easy money if you have a pulse and don't mind grinding it out.

As others have said, when you do the really cheap $1 and $2 that allow multiple entries you're going to get a lot of that from people that have large accounts.
There are single entry tournaments a plenty.
As for winning money, me and my buddy put $50 on before football season, have won about 8K. 6K from one $5 entry where we took 2nd overall.

And yet you have only one post on the Fantasy Sports board...
I know someone on a different board I frequent who won $500,000 a few weeks ago. There's not many posters so we all know each other and everything checked out. Just a random dude from Tennessee that hit the jackpot on a $25 entry.

Draft Kings and Fan Duel are both scams.

Yahoo has a similar set up. I've "won" a couple hundred books doing it but I'm probably only in the positive for this season $20 or so. I've lost a lot. It's fun and cheap entertainment IMO
I was going to do that, but I haven't had the time. It's the smart way to do it.
What kills me are the guys who somehow always know the perfectly random 5th string WR from a school like Ole Dominion who is going to go nuts on a given week. It almost feels like they are playing from the future.

Yeah, it was a complete luck win tbh. Was I think week 3 CFB, early entry only (early games only) the week when Baker Mayfield had 6 TD's 2 rushing and almost 600 yards.
We lost the 10K first place we held for over an hour thanks to the last play of the Nebraska game, by half a point.
I'll go take a screen one sec.
