I'm in a weird place. I was always in front of the Cam is way underrated battle cry.

Now I'm forced to go the other way since he's having an ok season, but getting MVP talk.

Eh I'll get shite on regardless. Cam is "hot" right now. Playing decent ball, team is undefeated. I still say he lacks accuracy, one game doesn't change it. Not even a half a season would change that. Ill give him his props for winning games and being on the best NFC team this season. He seems to have developed better leadership. My stance on him not being deserving of this hype he's getting hasn't changed. Not a top tier QB to me.

I don't think Cam is the best traditional drop back passer QB, but he's pretty good in his role. Would be interesting to watch him play with quality receivers. He does throw passes high still. That's my only real gripe. I'd take him over any QB in the NFC South.

I would not take him over Brees, Brees is the better player but has to deal with the worst defense in the league. Kinda hard to win when your defense gives up 30 a game. Or are you referring to long term? If you really think Cam is a better QB then Brees then you're helping prove my point in this thread.

A better question might be if he's underrated. He just might have the worst WR corps in the NFL. While he's not as good of a pure passer as Rodgers, Brady, etc, his running ability at the QB spot is the best in the league.

Pretty much this.

To coco, Brees is an awesome Qb. Still top ten. Maybe seven but I dont want to do research to back that up at 1am when I should be asleep.

Brees today has a limited arm and with age he's shown that he tries to put passes in windows that just aren't there. Cam has grown as a passer and while he's not on Drew's level in terms of reading defenses, Cam is a terrific runner and an above average passer. Makes for a deadly combo at the QB position.

Have you watched Brees these last two weeks especially?

He still makes throws that maybe 3-4 other QBs can make. I'd put him behind Rodgers and Brady for sure, but he is still elite.

Carolina could've gotten Vernon Davis for very cheap, like Denver did. Some players are traded for by teams because they are viewed as a "missing piece" by said team.

Carolina has a better tight end than Vernon Davis *now*.

Why in the hell would they have traded for or even need Vernon Davis?

Carolina needs a legit WR, TE is far from a problem.

Well, for one, he's an incredible receiving threat. He can line up at WR or TE and be a mismatch. For two, have you noticed how much Ed Dickson plays? Dude is garbage, and Vernon Davis would be a definite upgrade over him in every phase of the game. For three, it was just an example.

That used to be the case, then this season comes along and he's getting MVP hype, despite not really playing all that great. He's been ok.

Hard to accomplish everything with Colin Kaepernick at QB. He's so bad he makes players look washed up.

Ron Jaworski told us a few years ago that Kaepernick was the Future of Quarterbacking.

Every GM in the league would take Cam over Brees right now.

Are you talking about starting a team with? No fricking shite. He's a lot younger.

Brees is still the far superior player.

Please give me your top 10 QBs.
