Is anyone else really annoyed at the possibility that 5-7 teams could go bowling

I'm sorry but as a cfb fan I enjoy watching dumpster fires every now and then, and this year 2 examples are Texas and Nebraska. Them making bowl Games at 5-7 will tame the meltdown and hot seat drama that as an outsider I enjoy reading about.

Not really. I'd rather watch football than not watch football.

No. I can just not watch a game if I don't want.

FIFY

Bowls should be a reward for an above-average season, not a participation ribbon.

That's cool. We're different.

I'm watching Buffalo/Miami-Ohio on a Tuesday night if it's on.

And that's perfectly fine.

This.

Participation ribbons come in the paper check form and schools want that check.

How is getting a bowl game a participation award? U think this players are oblivious to the fact they are being used to bring in more money rather than being rewarded for going 5-7. Get a grip, dont watch if u dont want to.

Yes, it sucks. I've already had a rant on the Rant about this, and I love bowl games but this sucks.

If Kentucky goes to a bowl with a 5-7 record, I won't watch it. Below 500 teams should not get a bowl invite, and we need the practice!

It's dumb, there are to many bowl games. Am I annoyed by it? Nope. Will I watch all of them that I can? Yup.

It's like the NFL, I think the product is nowhere near as good as it has been in the past but I'm still going to watch and they know it.

Difference between Rutgers and cheerios? Cheerios belongs in a bowl.

No. They can only do so if the they achieve solid graduation rates, and the extra practice promotes competetive balance.
