Deciding between a few sets and these seem like great options. I usually shoot high 80s to low 90s with some 10 year old clubs.

Any experience with either of these sets?

Mizuno makes a great iron. I have never hit that model, but my brother has mizunos and he absolutely loves him and he has been through about 5 sets of irons in the past couple years

Most of the reviews online say the same, that it is a great iron. I just don't know how much to trust those reviews. I've never had Ping or Mizuno but their reputations seem legit

Your game would probably benefit best from Ping irons for right now.

I play g20's and love them but the mizunos are great as well. I hit the mizunos outside at a range and they were fine clubs. I could probably shape shots a little better with the mizunos because of the smaller sole, but I don't realistically try to shape shots to much when I'm out playing a round. I tend to try more to control my misses and I thought the pings were a little more forgiving.

In the end I choose ping for a few reasons,

first custom fitting (I have a lot of experience with ping and have my setup dialed in), if you go with ping find the best ping fitter in your area and go see him.

Second, my swing type, I am more a sweeper of the ball, shallow divots and have to work hard to hit down on the ball, because of this the wider soles on the ping g20 works better for my swing.

Third, i am a ping fanboy so simply brand loyalty I have always had a ping set of clubs since I first started playing (I have played many other sets, but always had at least one set of pings at all times). I have kept every set of pings I have had so I like this set also to keep my collection going. I have them all on display in my office.

The mizunos thu are great. Really you should find a club fitter hit both sets and find what your numbers are better with and go with those.
