Interesting NFL rumor about the draft I just heard on The Herd.

According to NFL Insider Peter Schrager.
Colin Cowheard has him on the show, and asked Schrager if he's heard of any surprises that might happen in the first round of this years NFL draft.
He claimed he heard a rumor from someone with in the Jacksonville Jaguars organization that says- the Leonard Fornette to the Jags idea is just a smoke-screen, and apparently the Jags are very inerested in Deshaun Watson at the 4th spot. This through me off and gets me a little excited tbh.
I'd pretty much love to see us take that chance. What do we have to lose? Bortles?

Peter King said to look out for Watson at 4. Said he might lead the league in smiles one day too.

so the jags have been using this smoke screen for months only to blow it days from the draft when someone within the organization blabs it to a reporter who will then announce it on a national radio show? Yeah that adds up.

I think he was talking about all the mock drafts that have LF going to the Jags. The Jags organization have kept pretty quite about the draft. He was saying alot of people think LF will go to the Jags, and thats a smoke-screen, for this rumor of getting DW. IDK man its just what he said.

I like 'The Herd'. I disagree with Colin on alot of stuff, but I like the honesty in his takes, and Imo its definetly one of the better sports talk shows.

which all goes to show that jax could be one of the teams highly interested in moving down a bit if they are intending to snag watson say 8-12 range.
