First Drexel loses to University of the Sciences, then Michigan loses to NJ Institute of Technology and now Nebraska loses to Incarnate Word. What is going on? What is an Incarnate Word?

Word up

Their football team was North Dakota State's opponent when college gameday was up there earlier in the season. Until then, I had not heard of them. I think Southeastern may have played them too at one point.

The first I heard of them was only a few days ago when they were talking about Baylor's upcoming OOC in football and they had agreed to a game with them in 2019

Of the 3 schools I mentioned I had only heard of NJIT. Never heard of the University of the Sciences which is out of Philadelphia.

Ricky Williams is an assistant football coach there... and the field they play on is named after Saints owner Tom Benson

They have actually been solid all season surprisingly.

But yeah, bad loss for the Big 10.

I'm pretty sure they won 24 games last year. They are transitioning in D1 so they aren't eligible for NCAAs, but they have a team full of kids who would not be eligible anyway. Smart way to build momentum for a move up, I suppose.
