Ohio State. Clemson has regressed defensively. They have lost their swagger big time.

Clemson has Dabo. By default, Ohio State wins.

I think Ohio State wins on a neutral field against anyone in the country at this point. It doesn't really matter, only one of these teams gets in, and it won't be Ohio State.

Agree that Ohio State is very strong.

I'm hoping Clemson screws the pooch in the ACC title game, which could very possibly open the door for Ohio State.

My ideal 4 would be Oklahoma, Alabama, MSU, and Ohio State.

I remember we had this discussion 3 years ago and I'm not sure I'm so confident about tOSU. I want to be, but the Tater Farmers already housed tOSU on a neutral field twice (one was in the 70's)

If Urban doesn't coach tight, OSU wins easily. I still think they're the most talented team in the nation, unfortunately they blew their shot.

I think that would be the perfect top four. Unfortunately, Ohio State waited until the last game of the season to play close to their potential.

question... what would the line be for a hypothetical Iowa vs. Ohio State matchup?

This the same Ohio St who lost to Michigan St, and their backup QB less than 9 days ago? While looking atrocious on offense in the process?

I think Oh St would beat Clemson in a close game. But I think Oklahoma and Bama would win, and depending on the bounces, win big. OSU beating Bama last year would hurt them this year. Bama wants to play OSU more than any team in the country.

If every team in the country plays their absolutely best game.

1) Oklahoma
2) Bama
3) OSU
4) Clemson

Everybody else.

Those 4 would be some fantastic games if every team plays its best possible game.

Is it two years ago again already? Housed is not the right word. They won in the last minute on a bogus call.

I don't know, but probably Ohio State by at least 10.

Did you forget to watch football the last two weeks?

I don't buy into "revenge" games. Ohio State is a team I don't think anyone would want to play right now, including Bama.

This Clemson team plays best against the better competition. Clemson. They'll be pumped up this week for the ACC title game.

Depends on multiple things.

However, I don't think anyone in the nation can beat Ohio State if the Buckeyes play to their potential. They played pretty close to it yesterday, but had some lapses on the defensive side. And they still skullfricked Michigan in the Big House.

That was the absolute worst weather I've ever watched a game in. It doesn't excuse OSU for not running the god damn ball more, but them not playing well on offense overall somewhat makes senese
