DAT threads basically have the same dysfunction and mood swings as LSU game threads, except there is a new one every day instead of just 4 times per week.

Lifelong Yankees fan here living in Houston and just bought my first Astros hat bc of Bregman. I'm pumped.

Yeah this is pretty spot on. Once you get invested in a team it can become one of the most aggravating things in the world, and likely the most aggravating team you follow in sports. Be glad you missed about the first 35 games this year for Houston

It reminds me of pulling for the Saints pre Payton/Brees. I can't claim to be a life long fan but I can appreciate their struggle. I admit since the Astros have become competitive I've become a fan.
I think the turn around happened when the Astros have got a decent GM and manager now and some pretty good players including an All Star in Altuve. Springer is great. Correa is pretty solid as well.
