If you could make one sweeping rule in football......

Mine would be that the game has to be played outside and on natural grass.

Pass Interference is no longer an automatic spot foul in the NFL. You can have the option to call it a spot foul if it's obvious or deliberate, like roughing the kicker.
If you run up the back of a receiver because he deliberately underthrew a 60 yard bomb, have some freaking common sense.

No more automatic first downs on defensive penalties. If it's 3rd and 20 and a team commits a face mask, now it's 3rd and 5. There aren't any offensive penalties that have an automatic punt...

Making face mask penalties for offensive players as well... It's not fair a defensive player puts a finger in a runners face mask and gets a 15 yarder, and when a runner face plants a defenders mask it's not called.

If I could snap my fingers to make the game pre 90s or 2K I would. NFL is too uniform and has no personality.
If not however my rule changes to this game are quite radical to make better game flow.
No kickoff or coin flips. These are decided on home/away.
Maybe one day even test no extra points.
