If Wilson wins the Super Bowl this year, is Wilson > Manning because 2 > 1?

Just want to put that question out there since everybody is getting ready to anoint Brady tGOAT again just because he is on the verge of winning another championship. If rings are how to measure greatness of QBs, then Wilson > Manning and Eli > Peyton.

Short answer is yes. Rings are all that matter

Right, because we all know Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson are better than Dan Marino.

According to this board, absolutely.

Peyton chokes in big games. He will finish his career with one ring.

Wilson? No.
But if you're trying to make a larger point about Brady then prepare to be disappointed because he's built a resume stellar enough to go toe to toe with Manning.
And, yes, when discussing the GOAT, rings matter.

What Wilson is better than Peyton at is being clutch when the stakes are the highest.
Manning is a one of a kind QB that essentially is an offensive coordinator in shoulder pads. He is an all time great that put up huge numbers year after year but he never had the same clutch consistency in the post season.
Wilson compares better to Montana or Brady who seem to come up big when the lights are the brightest.

Russell Wilson entered today with the highest passer rating in postseason history. I assume it dropped, and I'm not sure how much or if he still holds this record, but I don't think this is a statistic than can be attributed to the Seattle defense.

If you would choose Marino over Dilfer or Johnson in the postseason you're a fool. Dilfer and Johnson 1-0 in SB > Marino 0-1 in SB during 10 postseason trips=choke artist.

No, he's not that good. If he didn't have that defense and Marshawn Lynch constantly bailing his arse out is why the Seahawks have the record they do. He doesn't make that team any better. I mean he threw four interceptions against the Swiss cheese defense that the packers fielded.
