If/When the Big 12 finally disbands next decade, what happens to its members?

The conference's TV deal ends 2024-25 and the Longhorn Network lasts a little longer. It feels like the Big East a decade ago. It'll take a lot to salvage the current situation.
Texas could go independent, but I doubt it since its primary financial incentive, the Longhorn Network, will eventually end once the contract with ESPN expires in 2030 given how little success the network had had. Of course things could change over the next 14 years in that regard.
Texas then could join the Pac 12 like it has always wanted or a similar academically solid conference in the Big 10. Either conference would likely have to take Tech as well. They gladly would.
Oklahoma and its tag-along Okie State will join the Pac 12, Big 10 or SEC.
What about the rest?
Is basketball enough to warrant a Big 10 invite for Kansas?
Will the ACC or SEC want WVU?
Will schools like KSU, TCU, and Baylor--and maybe WVU or KU--join forces with the best of the rest to form a solid-but-not-quite-power conference? BYU and the top AAC schools?
Something like... KSU, TCU, Baylor, Houston, BYU, Cincinnati, Memphis, UConn, UCF, USF, Temple, Tulane, and maybe a couple others (KU and WVU if they can't get into a power conference, or maybe SMU and Boise, for example).
Is it just a formality there will be four major conferences, each divided into 2 large divisions?

I have a feeling they're going to stick together and try to make the best out of a bad situation like the Big East/AAC members have done.

64 members currently in the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Pac 12, and Big 12.
When the 4 super conferences occur, a few of the Big 12 teams might be left out. Notre Dame will get a spot. Maybe some schools like BYU, Cincinnati, etc. will try to battle it out with the Iowa State and Kansas States of the world.

OU, KU and possibly K-State to big 10

That would be hard. Puts them at 17 teams. Kansas doesn't jump without K State for political reasons. OU doesn't go anywhere without Okie Lite.
Plus Kansas lacks the academic credentials the B1G wants.

What do they call it in soccer where if you suck hard you get dropped to the minors the next year?
I say whoever has given up 50 or more points gets disbanded, and the rest ger spread out between the Big 10, Pac 12 and whatever other conference.
The current Big 12 and their "defenses" are a joke.

I could see OU going to the SEC and replacing Mizzou once they finally get kicked out. Move Alabama or Auburn to the East and OU to the west.
They already have geographic rivals in the west in A&M, Ark, and LSU. They also fit in with the SEC in secondary sports like softball, baseball and gymnastics

Iowa State is not Kansas State. They actually may have a chance at the Big. They are a big public school, have a decent sized stadium that stays packed, and most importantly they are AAU members. They also have no football history, Iowa would probably try to keep them out, and the Big probably won't double up on a smallish state. They do have some things the Big looks for, but realistically not enough to get them in.

i could see ISU and KU(or more) head to Big10
Both are AAU
schools like WVU,KST,Baylor,Tech, etc are fricked. they better pray some one is desperate, or they will be part of a super midmajor conference.

Tech is bound to Texas now that A&M is on its own on the SEC. Texas politics assures that's the case.
