Are they still greater than the 95-96 Bulls?

5-6 teams in the NBa would beat the bulls. The players are simply more athletic now

They've already lost more games than those Bulls. The "greatest team ever" ship sailed last night, even if somehow they pull this out.

No, the Bulls won the title. One of three in a row.

Both seasons were during really weak years for the league. The Bulls during an expansion season and this year the West was as bad as I can ever remember it being.

Huh? The West had the greatest 8th seeded team in the history of organized sports I thought?

West was weak as hell this year. The 5 seed Portland wouldn't even be an 8 seed most years. The 4 seed had their best player out half the season.

I didn't hear anyone saying this last week with the "What can be done about the Eastern Conference" thread.

Even in a down year it's still better.

It's true.

90s NBA was slow compared to today's game.

Watching some of that eras highlights is alarming. So many goofy players who played considerable minutes.

is the loss to thunder or game 3 vs cavs? kind of matters a-hole.

Last season the West teams outside of GSW had a net rating of +6. 10 teams with a positive net rating.

This season the West teams outside of GSW had a combined net rating of -6.7. Only 7 teams total with a positive net rating. 2 playoff teams with a negative net rating....

If is wasn't obvious from the eye test that should clear it up for you a little.

Warriors have already gotten blown out twice.

And a third time by OKC during the regular season. GOAT ship has sailed.

Bulls might have lost a few but they weren't getting dismantled, exposed and humiliated.

I think they were 3-0 vs OKC in the regular season?

They lost a Finals game by 21 during the 72 win season.
