There are a number of images that are instantly recognizable to fans. Some are postgame celebrations, like Shula and Madden being carried off the field, or Namath and Favre celebrating.

Others are signature plays. The Giants have David Tyree's helmet catch. The Steelers have Lynn Swann's leaping grab. The Saints of course have this:

I've been trying to put together a collection of images like that, and I can't find one for the Falcons. Anyone know where I can look? I keep searching and nothing comes up.

No one outside of NOLA thinks that's an iconic picture on the level of the photo of David tyrees catch

I think the only images for them are kept by the Madden franchise. Check there.

It is not even close to the Chiefs Raiders rivalry IMO.

There are so many NFC rivalries that are much better also.

That is certainly iconic for the city of New Orleans.

It may not be on that level (or the Malcolm Butler INT) but it's still pretty iconic. Face it, how many Super Bowls are more or less decided by one play? Not too many. Look at the history of the game -a lot of one sided snooze fests. Whether or not you want to admit it, XLIV had some real drama in it.

Falcons play Thursday. I'm still waiting for the Saints to start the season.

I would argue that the play call to go for the onside kick to start the second half for the Saints was one of the more memorable plays since it worked.
