And I hope the trauma of watching it unfold literally kills Jerry Jones.

I love the Cowboys but I really detest that man. Romo deserved so much better than the trash Jones surrounded him with for so long. By the time he hired Will McClay and gave up some control over personnel, Romo was old and injury prone. And for a man who famously flew to Austin and found Tom Landry on a golf course just to fire him, he hasn't improved his legacy.

The trash around him that a pair of rookies just led to the number one seed?

the Facebook memers and retards will never realize this

I hate the Cowboys with a passion, but I can't remember the last time before '14 where he didn't have to play lights out for them to even have a chance. I learned to really respect him for carrying that shitshow of a franchise for that long.
Hell, I remember one season where he literally had to either jump for or pick up the snap off the ground at least 10 times a game, it was hilarious how inept the Center play was that season. Imagine having to focus on the damn snap almost every play, while trying to figure out how to shred an NFL defense.....it was comical the bullshite he had to deal with

I knew he was cursed a few years ago in the game against Denver. Denver didn't punt ONCE, NOT ONCE!! He throws for over 500 yards and 5 TDs, yet he still got blamed.

Wherever he goes he will get hurt.

Shoulders, back, collar bone.

I'm thinking he is due for a fractured leg

Like that would ever happen.

There was a time Marc Wilson was about to retire and I thought maybe he could take the Raiders to the title before he does.

Marc Wilson was drafted in Round 1 out of BYU...when BYU was producing the best quarterbacks in the country.

But then I realized...he will always be Marc Wilson. He's been in the league for 10 years.

Tony Romo has been in the league for 13 years.

Nobody is changing their spots, after 13 years.

He should learn the story of the Hippo...and be happy.

Happy as a Hippo.

Jerry's man love for Romo has been well documented to have propelled Romo to the Cowboys mountain-top.

It's well known he gave Romo shot after shot to win the job and when Romo faltered and failed - he defended him.

Romo has had a staunch supporter in Jones.

Reminds me when Lasorda staunchly supported and drafted Piazza...of course, Piazza became a Hall of Famer.

The only Hall of Fame Romo is going to hit is Jeter seconds.

Marc Wilson had a career QB rating of 67. Tony is the 4th highest rated passer in the history of professional football, 0.1 behind Tom Brady.

So what was he supposed to do? Keep him and his massive contract while he languishes on the sideline?

No, he was supposed to put a better team around him in Romo's prime. Romo took a bunch of garbage teams to the playoffs or right to the brink of the playoffs. Those Dallas teams from 2011-2013 were 2-3 win teams without him.

Ok well that's at least more reasonable than wishing death on him for cutting him like I thought you were

Do you understand that Jerry believed in Romo when not many other people did? Jerry has his faults, but he's not someone to melt over.

He had a good team around him in 14, 15, and 16 but couldn't win it in 14 and couldn't play in 15 & 16.

Give me one plausible team that signs him and how that team wins or even makes it to the SB and I'll tell you exactly what parts of the world would inplode.
