Heat at home, down by 3 to the Hawks with seconds left in the game.
Allen puts up a three that misses.
Foul on Allen.
Watching the replay, the Hawk player who defended Allen didn't come within 6 inches of fricking Ray Allen.
But, of course... foul.
Ray Allen hits all three free throws.
Overtime.
Heat wins.
Who would have ever guessed?

Heat are a gutsy team, heart of a champion

Notwithstanding the fact that he missed the three point try.
And he wasn't fricking fouled even though the worthless NBA refs called a foul.
But... yeah.

Was just about to start a thread about officiating. Here's my post:
I know officials don't ever wanna call last second fouls against teams like the Heat or Thunder in the 4th Q or OT, but the Hawks really got shafted tonight.
Barely touch Lebron, and its a foul. Yet the Hawks get mugged on almost every possession down the stretch, and zero calls.
I really hate complaining about officials, but at some point the NBA needs to step in and do something about it.
The Hawks and Pacers have both got screwed against the Heat in the past week.

You may have some argument with the Hawks, but I am sorry, the refs gave the Pacers their share of calls.

The NBA definitely has officiating that adjust to the big name superstar in every game. Sometimes it is unbearable to watch.

this. He knocked the hell out of his arm. WTF are these peoople watching

quote:You are blind. He hit his arm. Not a lot of contact, but he definitely touch his forearm. And on a jump shot that's all it takes.

The PFs were 26 on ATL to 20 on MIA. That's hardly some crazy NBA pro-Heat disparity. Your team lost. Just deal with it. It happens.
quote:Give me a break. The Pacers get away with more defensive fouls than any other team in the league. Add to it Hibbert being allowd to stay in the paint for 5+ seconds on every possession, and I laugh at your ridiculous comment.

so this isn't about the attempted lob to Killa Korver for the win? I mean I know he's the new Bird, but get that man a jump shot.
