That is completely irrelevant. They can get way more for George from other teams than the Cavs can give them.

I remember Love making an awful supporting cast a respectful .500 team
He played 6 seasons up until he was 25 and never reached .500.

Ease up on the Love made Minny respectable talk.

If Love played for anybody not named the Cavs or Warriors he would put up 23 and 13 every night.

Looter in a riot. A truly elite, top 10 ish player who is the obvious #1 option doesn't perennially have a team under .500 all the way to age 25. That doesn't happen.

can they?

They've yet to be given an offer worth taking, so how do you know that can get more, much less "way more?"

Name all the elite, top 10-15 players(which is where many had him that final year in Minny when he was dropping 25/12) who went for 6 straight losing seasons.

That's all I'm saying, where's the list.

Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins have both had a lot of success in the playoffs. Love kept those Wolves teams from drafting top three every year.

Anthony Davis
1. He hasn't even played 6 seasons lol.

2. He's gone 2 straight seasons, nowhere near 6.

3. That being said and to your greater point, I've already said if he continues to show little team success, he'll get the same overrated label.

Demarcus Cousins
And that's why there's all kinds of question marks with Cousins as your #1 option.

Elite, top 10 players don't keep you out of the lottery, they go over .500 and keep you in the playoffs.

The only thing I've seen offered to Indiana in these Cleveland trades is money.

So yeah. They can get more than that from the Lakers

The talks stalled since the draft. Before the draft, the offer was for Denver to send #13 to Indy.

I'd argue that #13 is about on par, if not better than 27/28/Clarkson.

They won 40 games his last year in a loaded conference and won 16 games the next year after he left. That team would've made the playoffs in the east that year. The best player Love played with was Rubio who was at best the 4th best player on a 31 win team this year. I don't think Love is a top ten player but to act like he does nothing but put up meaningless stats is a really dumb argument.

Ok, I'll ask again, name all the legit #1 options who went 6 straight seasons without a winning record?

Boogie was named, and there's major question marks on him as a #1 option, rightfully so.

No one's saying the guy's a bum. He's an all-star level talent, but he's been up twice against an all-time great team and has been something less than his best self both times. Sad to say his status on the team comes down to how he plays vs one team but that's the reality.

Where is this coming from? People keep wanting to talk about all these great possible deals the Pacers could get for PG and maybe they can but nothing has been shown so far.

His replies to me certainly insinuate that he disagrees with my take, so I don't know what you're talking about.

And in fairness, his replies to me attribute things I never said or insinuated about Love, so there's that too.

Would be difficult to land, but If the Cavs get Melo and Paul George, their championships will be as tainted as a whore's vagina.

This is actually really funny. Not bc of his skin color but bc vs GS he looks like that kid in high school that was good in a structured environment but then was a total liability playing pick up games. Yeah he may get a few buckets or whatever but you knew damn well the other team was going right at him.
