Wow. Kobe is a braver man than I. I'll leave it at that. Is he not planning to be on the court when the lakers travel to clutch city this season?

You say this as if Dwight is going to seek revenge or something. He is s-o-f-T. Hell, Kobe has basically called him a pussy to his face already and nothing happened.

Dwight called Kobe a pussy to his face too. D12 didn't whoop him Only bc they were teammates. All bets are off come this season. It's not the smartest thing Kobe has ever said to talk to shite to someone bigger faster and stronger is what I'm saying.

Which would be irrelevant, based on your standard.

So, admittedly, he's just as much a champion as Dwight, right?

In fact, wouldn't he more so, since he's already actually won a championship at the collegiate level?

Nope. Did I miss seeing Davis with a S on his chest winning dunk contests? Dwight has reached levels in his career Davis can only dream of at this point.

So, the distinguishment between championships isn't championships.

AD
Gold Medal Olympics
Gold Medal World Championships
Collegiate National Champion, MOP in Tournament.

Dwight
GOld Medal Olympics
Bronze Medal World Championships

So AD has done more, but Dwight dressed up in a costume and dunked pretty hard.

Therefore, Dwight is more of a champion than AD.

Is that the gist of it?

Davis truly hasn't made it in this league until he wraps his arm around a coach he's having fired.

It was a great post. There's a reason why so many are claiming it as their sig quote.

John Kinkade did the interview (ESPN & 680 The Fan ATL host) he played parts of it yesterday on his afternoon show.

We've all heard the stories and have picked sides. He says on both sides people will be shocked to find out their hero was to blame and their villin was the victim.

Dunk contests and skills comps.

Dwight will never win a championship. And even if he somehow did, he isn't going to lead shite

Shaq apparently also stated in this podcast that he screwed up when playing with Kobe and he has since also taken the blame for the breakup.

Shaq burned bridges every place he playeded almost:

1) Falling out with Orlando ,trashing the city & organization & did not get along with Penny Hardway( nice guy from all indications) due to jealousy.

2) Publicly swore at Dr Buss who was sitting courtside' , was very unprofessional ( work ethic questioned) & trashed Kobe & the organization when they both took the high road.

3) Bashed Pat Riley in Miami & allegedly physically threatened him. Call out Riley publicly & got criticized by DWade.

4)I think Shaq burned some brides in Phoenix as well.

Only Cleveland & Boston were the destinations that Shaq seemed to humbly realize that his dominance was over & seemed to understand his role.

Even Young Kobe was far more professional / mature than Shaq ever was.

The Rockets biggest issue is James Harden showing up at gut check time not Howard.

Anyway, this podcast is going to be great.

This thread is going to be bump gold when Dwight is holding up an NBA championship trophy.

as well it should be if that's the outcome, but don't surprised to see it bumped when the Rockets are out.

Boom saying The Spurs are too old is the best part of the thread, imo.
