If you were the Lakers would you trade Pau Gasol to the Twolves for Kevin Love and the #2 pick(either Irving or Williams)?

Of course, but why would the TWolves do that?

does that put u back in championship contention with the remaining time Kobe has to be an effective player?

I'm not sure Irving, Williams, or whomever they would take at #2 would reach a level of effectiveness in time to be worth it to make that trade

One reason is Rubio would be more comfortable playing with Gasol since they are on the Spanish national team together and when his head is on straight Gasol is a top 3 big man in the NBA

That would be the dumbest trade in history of NBA from T-wolves standpoint. I wouldn't trade Love for Gasol straight up, much less add in the #2 pick overall!

Probably not anymore and, even if so, not for long. He is 31 or 32, right?

You don't get rid of consistent force like Love in hopes that an aging big man will help an over rated kid that has never played in the NBA feel more comfortable.
