Triple doubles being thrown about like candy and more flopping than titties in a Mardi Gras parade.

I'd say he'd easily go for 35/11/9

Too bad his missed the easy pickins of the 80's and last twenty-teens so he could stat pad. I guess Kobe had to do the real heavy lifting from 1999-2015.

What do you think is different now compared to Kobe at his peak?

Dude he was playing last year. I'd say he'd be doing about as good as he did in the latter part of his career.

He wouldn't have the athleticism to keep up with today's highly advanced players.

It'd be harder for him to get to the basket without the illegal defense rule.

Probably not too well, tbh. He could never accomplish anything without a dominant big man, and there are few of those in today's game.

Kobe's 2005-2007 stretch was unreal.

How do you know he wouldn't average 8 or ten rebounds... you're just spitballing here

he had 60 in his final game a like 6 months ago, he'd fare fine like every other ball hog throughout history. If you're talking peak kobe, he'd be a monster bc you cant breathe on any stars with a foul being called and james harden shoots 10+ ft a game and kobe was deadly at the line

Please don't use that particular game as any sort of legitimate metric

Kobe retired and the Lakers got better. Dude had been an anchor on that organization for a while.

Harden is better than Kobe at drawing fouls/contact. Harden may be the best perimeter player in league history at drawing fouls and getting himself to the stripe.

hahahahahahhahahahah

Kobe routinely was in the top 10 for most fouls drawn per game and did the vast majority of it in the midrange/perimeter game. He was one of the GOATs at drawing fouls and getting to the free throw line and he did it for years
