i will bring up my idea from years ago. They need to have a slam dunk competition the week before the all star break involving street ballers. Winner of that gets to compete against the NBA players.

NBA is too protective of its brand to do it though.
Also, Jordan gets some credit for actually jumping from the free line while most that do it always step just inside it.

Serge Ibaka jumped from farther away than Jordan did and people weren't that impressed with it. He didn't even get a 50.
