How many of you follow a MLB team throughout the entire season?

I cant do it. I lose interest in my team after a month. I grew up absolutely loving baseball and played through high school but MLB is just too boring to keep up with. I couldn't give 2 shits that the royals and blue jays are tied in the 5th inning of the 20th game they've played against each other.

I'm a Cubs fan, so the season ends in May.

I watched the Cubs/Padres 15 inning game instead of the VMAs the other night. But watching the Cubs is hard to watch anyway. Any of the top 3 team in the NL Central would be fun to follow right now.

I'm starting to like the Marlins more now with all their young talent playing.

Rangers.

my point is its hard to follow an entire season when teams play each other so damn much. why is it necessary?

The Braves are an fun team to follow throughout the year (HRs and strikeouts), not so much in the postseason.

Yes I follow the Braves all season long, and all offseason long. If you love baseball and love your team there's nothing better than having a game almost every day.

If you can't follow a whole season then you can't call them "your team"

Braves 365 days a year here though

Agreed, I really get irritated on off days. My wife hates baseball, but I find a way to watch most of every game that the Braves play. This usually means I'm on my computer gaming on one monitor with the Braves on the other and only half paying attention to it, but I still have it on so I can watch when I want or just check on it for updates. My interest starts to fade a little when college football starts, but not very much.

I follow the Rangers the entire season. It is harder now that I am not in their market. I still catch some games on MLB Network and I read the daily blogs. I need to check with Direct TV to see if I can get other regional Fox Sports Net channels for a fee.

All year. I cannot possibly watch every Rangers game but I attend 7-10 games a year and watch about less than half on TV. I read team blogs every day.

Edit. Misread the op. Yes, i follow the Cubs all season, went to see them when they came to Coors, watch as many games as i can in tv. DGAF how bad they may be or what their record is, that's my team.

I pay attention to the Braves until Football season starts. I keep an eye on them from that point on. If they are in the playoffs, I will watch their games.
